After more than ten years of development, Asics has perhaps reached its goal. To design a trail running shoe that performs as well as it feels, enabling athletes to run longer, faster and higher. While the Gel-Trabuco 11 takes up the fundamentals of the historic model, namely top-of-the-range comfort and reduced weight, it improves on what can be improved by now offering you softer cushioning and better grip.

In fact, the technology has changed. While previous versions featured simple FlyteFoam, this new generation has one of the most advanced foams available today, FlyteFoam Blast. It's softer, more supple and more comfortable, but still very dynamic. It is present from the heel to the forefoot, allowing you to make very rapid transitions from the footbed to the forefoot.

The outsole has also been modified. The studs no longer have the same profile as on previous versions. They have a different shape, giving you exceptional grip on both wet and dry terrain. This is the Asics Grip system, unique to the brand for several years, and constantly improved.

This shoe is Gore-Tex, so it's perfectly waterproof against rain and moisture.
