Orca Athlex Float

The new Orca Athlex Float V2 is designed to offer a perfect balance between buoyancy and flexibility, ensuring optimal positioning in the water and more efficient swimming. Ideal for triathletes and open water swimmers, this wetsuit combines high quality materials and innovative design for enhanced performance.

The Orca Float range is ideal for triathletes and swimmers who are not completely comfortable in the water and are looking for a wetsuit that will help them correct their technique. Athlex Float offers extra buoyancy for a stable position in the water, dramatically improving its user's performance. While flexibility is important,if your technique isn't perfect and your arm movement isn't on point, buoyancy becomes the most important factor in improving your time.Swimmers concerned with this range need combined buoyancy and flexibility,so that each element acts on the specific area the user needs it on depending on their technique.

Key features:

Enhanced buoyancy: High-density neoprene panels (up to 4.5 mm) improve your position in the water by reducing drag, facilitating faster, smoother swimming.

Maximum flexibility: Thanks to the ultra-flexible 2 mm Yamamoto neoprene on the shoulders and arms, this wetsuit guarantees optimum freedom of movement for unrestricted swimming.

Optimised hydrodynamics: The Super Composite Skin (SCS) coating reduces friction with the water, improving glide and reducing muscle fatigue.

Perfect comfort and fit: Its ergonomic cut hugs the male body, offering optimum support without excessive compression.

YKK zip: Easy to put on and take off for quick transitions in competition.

Technical specifications : Neoprene thicknesses : 2 mm (shoulders and arms) 3,4 and 5 mms (back, legs, torso). Technology: Yamamoto, SCS, Infinity Skin 2 Use: Triathlon, open water swimming.

Why choose the Orca Athlex Float V2? Designed for swimmers looking for optimum support without compromising on flexibility, this wetsuit improves the efficiency of every movement while ensuring great comfort. Available now! Order your Orca Athlex Float V2 Men and achieve your triathlon and open water goals. The Orca Athlex Float V2 is ideal for all triathletes, but also for more regular runners looking for a high-performance, reliable wetsuit at a good price for all triathlon distances. The main qualities of this model are: elasticity, glide, comfort, buoyancy and thermal protection. The reference in its category, the Orca Athlex Float is high-performance, versatile and can be used for all distances.

Orca Athlex Float V2 combines high buoyancy and elasticity: a very well-balanced combination, ideal for swimmers who need extra buoyancy to correct their posture in the water and very high elasticity in the arms. Thin materials on the upper torso and thick materials on the legs allow the swimmer to tackle triathlon events with confidence and over all distances.

Orca Athlex Float V2 combines high buoyancy and elasticity in a well-balanced suit that is ideal for swimmers who need extra buoyancy to correct their posture in the water and high elasticity in the arms. Thin materials in the upper torso and thick materials in the legs allow the swimmer to tackle triathlon events with confidence over any distance.

The suit incorporates specific technologies for maximum buoyancy and to help correct technique, allowing swimmers to maintain a hydrodynamic posture in open water. It also incorporates highly stretchable materials in the upper torso area, promoting freedom of movement in the arms.

Orca Athlex Float V2 is the ideal solution for the “Progressive Swimmer” (swimmers looking for maximum leg and pelvic buoyancy), who needs more buoyancy in the lower body and flexibility in the upper body. It raises the triathlete's position in the water, but retains the flexibility needed for arm movements. The elasticity of the arms and torso is simply incredible.

Based on the expertise and experience of professional triathletes, this suit is perfect for those who want to go further and faster! A truly fabulous product in terms of technology and innovation, the new Yamamoto 39+ and .39 FS neoprenes combined with the Infinity Skin 2 inner lining offer unprecedented performance in this price category. Without doubt one of the best value for money on the market.

Innovations:

-Yamamoto neoprene: Yamamoto is one of the leading manufacturers of ultra-high performance neoprene. Its label is synonymous with quality, technology and innovation. Orca uses Yamamoto neoprene on all its products, a tough, lightweight, high-performance material. The construction of the yokes and the combination of these different high-quality materials position Orca wetsuits at the cutting edge of the industry.

-Yamamoto 39+ neoprene: The high flexibility of Yamamoto 39 neoprene, combined with the elasticity of the Infinity Skin 2 lining, gives a feeling of maximum freedom. Thanks to this combination, fast movements require 35% less force than with a conventional wetsuit. For slower, wider arm movements, you can save 45% in force compared with a conventional suit. What's more, the SCS surface treatment helps to reduce resistance and friction with the water, improving the suit's hydrodynamics and enabling swimmers to move faster.

-Yamamoto 39 FS neoprene: The combination of Yamamoto 39 neoprene, Infinity Skin 2 lining and Smoothskin surface finish provides elasticity, maximum flexibility and a feeling of total freedom. With this wetsuit, swimmers will need to exert 35% less force to make fast, short arm movements, and 45% less force for slower, fuller movements, compared with any other conventional wetsuit.

-Yamamoto 38+ neoprene: Yamamoto 38+ provides better compression for an optimal wetsuit fit, promoting swimmer comfort in open water. The SCS surface treatment is used to maximise the hydrodynamic properties of the wetsuits, reducing friction with the water to enable athletes to swim faster.

-Buoyancy = A unique 5mm Yamamoto SCS yoke on the lower abdomen and front thighs ensures maximum buoyancy and freedom of movement in the water. The Orca Athlex Float suit helps you correct your position by raising it to the maximum. The 3.5 mms thick yoke on the torso prevents body instability that can be caused by incorrect breathing.

-Speed = The front part of the wetsuit is made from Yamamoto neoprene with an SCS coating to reduce friction when you swim, allowing you to be faster thanks to better glide and incredible flexibility.

-Flexibility = 2mms Yamamoto 39+ SCS neoprene inserts on shoulders and arms, combined with Infinity Skin 2 inner jersey for extraordinary freedom of movement and flexibility.

-SCS = Acting as a coating applied to the neoprene, SCS (Super Composite Skin) has become a benchmark in the manufacture of triathlon suits. The result is less friction thanks to its water-repellent action, greater flexibility and resistance to snags. Less friction = more speed!

-VSC = New collar cut in Yamamoto 39 Cell + SCS = extreme flexibility, more comfort and less tightness.

-Zero Irritation = The lining in the neck reduces friction and prevents irritation.
